About Us
Who am I?
I’m Catherine. I’m a parent and an early childhood educator amongst many other titles. But those two hats i wear most often are guiding me in almost everything i do.
I have been on the parenting journey for 9 years now and know first-hand how beautiful, challenging, simple, overwhelming, triggering, loving and transforming it can be. Parenting is no joke, and it is real. It shines a light right through you, the good, the bad and the ugly. Tackling those realities, those parts of you, is hard, and scary, and vulnerable, and also has an unmeasurable beauty to it.
I have been working alongside children for the past 20 years. I am very passionate about the vocation i chose, the career that called me. The early years sector needs a lot of advocacy, for children, for families, for educators, and for society at large, and i am here for it. I believe things need to change, i am part of the educators trying to make the world a better place for children by re-thinking, re-conceptualizing and re-learning ways of educating and caring.
